Kids Church

We offer children's ministry during our 10am service at All Saints' Church in Taradale. The children are invited into a gathering that helps them meet Jesus at their age and stage, with movement, music and activities.

We also run a number of weekly children and youth ministries.

A Place for Families to Belong

We believe the most important thing a human being can be called to do is to raise another human. But we also believe this was never meant to be done alone. As a church, we strive to be a place where you can be supported as you raise your little people, but also where those children are shaped and formed by the message of Jesus to grow into the fullness of all that God has called them to be. To help with this, we offer tons of ministries to children and young people. Click the button below to check out more.

Common Questions

What should I wear?

As long as you have clothes on, you will be fine at any of our gatherings. Some arrive in shirts, some arrive in jandals, some in the 'Sunday best' others in whatever happened to be clean that morning.

How long are the services?

The 8am service at All Saints' is typically between 50 and 70 minutes. The 10am service is typically between 70 and 80 minutes long.

Our rural services at St Michaels and St George's will typically be 60 minutes long.

What's the music style?

It varies between each community. Our 8am community at All Saints, alongside our rural services, are typically hymns led by the Organ. Our 10am service at All Saints is led by a music group and is more contemporary in style. The 7pm service emphasises simple sung worship and typically includes newer music, led by guitar and vocalist.

Are there refreshments?

We love coffee as much as most people, so following our 10am service there is always a morning tea with delicious snacks and some plunger coffee and tea avaialble.

Our 8am service occasionally gathers for morning tea following their gathering, and our 7pm service is typically followed by some informal catch ups after the gathering.

What is the kid's ministry like?

Our children's ministry is focused on growing our younger members in understanding of Jesus and what it means to belong to the community of the church. We have a pattern of gatherings with hospitality, nurture, contemplation and celebration at their heart. Some weeks it is conversations about a parable Jesus shared, another it is baking cupcakes to share at morning tea. Some Sunday's it is nurturing a garden to teach responsibility, another it is vibrantly playing games to get to the heart of a lesson.
